Supported models:
realme Buds Air7 Pro, realme Buds Air8
Feature Introduction:
AI Live Translator
Our AI Live Translator feature instantly translates the other party's speech into your preferred language (e.g., English to Chinese). It delivers the translated audio directly to your earphones—without capturing or translating your own voice.
Face-to-Face Translator
The conversation content is translated in real-time and broadcast via voice, so even if you don’t understand foreign languages, you can communicate freely and without obstacles, making communication easier. (One party wears earphones, and the other uses the phone to communicate face-to-face).
AI Live Translator & Face to Face Translator support 34 languages:
Arabic (ar), Bengali (bn), Bulgarian (bg), Chinese (Simplified & Traditional) (zh), Czech (cs), Danish (da), Dutch (nl), English (en), Finnish (fi), French (fr), German (de), Greek (el), Hebrew (iw), Hindi (hi), Hungarian (hu), Indonesian (id), Italian (it), Japanese (ja), Korean (ko), Latvian (lv), Lithuanian (lt), Norwegian (no), Polish (pl), Portuguese (pt), Romanian (ro), Russian (ru), Serbian (sr), Slovak (sk), Spanish (es), Swedish (sv), Thai (th), Turkish (tr), Ukrainian (uk), Vietnamese (vi)
How to use AI Live Translator & Face to Face Translator

Related FAQs:
1. Is the AI feature free? Do I need a subscription? Can I use it indefinitely without limits? Are there any time restrictions?
The AI feature is completely free, with no subscription required and no usage time limits.
2. Can I activate the AI translator directly (e.g., via voice command or phone button) without opening the realme Link app, like Google Assistant?
Currently, you cannot activate the AI translator feature through voice commands or phone buttons. However, you can use the earbud’s physical button for this purpose, provided the realme Link app is running in the background and custom button functions are set up. Steps in realme Link app:
Open realme Link > Tap the realme Buds Air7 Pro card > Button Settings > Choose Triple-Tap/Long Press > Assign the desired AI function.
3. What’s the difference between AI Live Translator and AI Face-to-Face Translator?
AI Live Translator: Translates speech in one direction (e.g., a lecture). The translated audio plays through the earbuds (ideal for monologue scenarios).
AI Face-to-Face Translator: Supports two-way dialogue. One person uses earbuds, while the other uses a phone. Speech picked up by the phone is translated and played via its speaker; speech from the earbuds is translated and played through the phone’s speaker.
4. Can I change the AI translation voice?
No, voice customization is not supported.
5. Is there a long delay in AI functions?
Regarding the delay in the AI feature, this may be caused by unstable network connections (e.g., on high-speed trains, subways, etc.) or other factors. We recommend trying again in a stable network environment with minimal background noise.
