Problem phenomenon:

Unable to add or enroll fingerprints.

Causes:

1. The finger or the phone fingerprint area may be dirty or wet.

2. If your phone has an in-display fingerprint, a non-original phone film may interfere with the sensor signal and affect the fingerprint enrolling.

3. The finger may have peeling skin or too many lines/wrinkles. This can also cause the fingerprint adding/enrolling to fail.

Solution:

1. Clean the finger and the fingerprint area to try again.

2. Remove the screen film or use the original screen film to try again.

3. Change other fingers to try again.

4. Restart the phone and try again.

5. Please check if your fingerprint sensor is normal. Please go to

realme UI 3.0 & above versions: Phone Manager > Tap on ︙on top right corner/Tool > Diagnostics.

realme UI 2.0: Phone Manager Diagnostics

and Select fingerprint identification and unselect the rest of the options > Click on Run Diagnostics and Follow the Instructions.

realme UI R & Go & S & T & U Edition: Not supported

If the above methods do not solve your problem, please back up your data in advance and visit the nearest realme Service Center with your purchase certificate for testing.
