How to add VPN in realme devices

VPN is a remote access technology. Simply, it uses a public network to set up a private network. For example, if an employee of a company travels to another place and wants to access server resources on the corporate intranet, he can set up a VPN server on the intranet. After the non-local employees connect to the Internet locally, they connect to the VPN server through the Internet and then enter the corporate intranet through the VPN server.


Setting method

Step 1:

realme UI 7.0 & 6.0 & 5.0: Settings > Notification & Quick Settings / Notification & status bar > Status bar > VPN > Tap the + in the upper right corner.

realme UI 4.0 & 3.0 & 2.0: Settings > Connections & sharing > VPN > Tap the + in the upper right corner.

realme UI R & Go & S & T & U Edition: Settings > Network & internet > VPN > Tap the + in the upper right corner.

Step 2:

Enter the VPN network name.

Step 3:

Select IKEv2/IPSec MSCHAPv2, IKEv2/IPSec PSK, IKEv2/IPSec RSA according to the service provider's configuration type VPN type.

Step 4:

Fill in the server address (provided by the network service provider), and click "Save" to save the settings.

Step 5:

Click to open the newly created connection, fill in the user name and password provided by the network service provider, click "Connect", and wait a moment. After the connection is successful, it will be displayed in the status bar
