Low volume from your phone speaker is usually caused by blocked speaker holes, volume settings, or software compatibility. Don't worry—a simple cleaning or adjustment often fixes this. Please try the following steps:
I. Check Physical Condition and Clean
1. Remove external blockages
Please check if your screen protector, phone case, or stickers are covering the speaker holes at the top or bottom of the phone. If you find anything blocking them, please remove it and play audio again to see if the volume returns to normal.
2. Clean the speaker holes
Look for dust, lint, or debris built up inside the speaker mesh. If you see any blockage, we recommend using a dry, clean, soft brush to gently clean the holes and ensure the sound can come out clearly.
II. Adjust Settings and Software
1. Confirm volume is turned up
While playing a video or music, or during a call, press the Volume Up button on the side of your phone to set the volume to the maximum level.
2. Check audio balance
If the sound seems to come from only one side or is uneven, go to Settings > System Settings/Additional Settings > Accessibility > Hearing. Make sure the Audio balance slider is right in the middle.
3. Check for software issues and update
If the volume is only low in a specific app, we recommend uninstalling and reinstalling that app (after backing up your data). Also, please go to Settings > About Device, tap the card at the top, and update your system to the latest version to fix any potential compatibility issues.
