If your phone shows a Wi-Fi icon but you cannot load webpages or apps, it is usually due to an issue with the home broadband line or the router, rather than a defect in your phone. Please follow the troubleshooting steps below to restore your internet access.

I. Check Router and Environment

1. Check other devices on the same network

Please check if other phones, computers, or tablets connected to the same Wi-Fi can access the internet. If other devices also cannot load webpages, the issue is with the broadband line or the router. We recommend contacting your internet service provider to check for outages or account issues.

2. Restart the router and modem

Routers can experience temporary errors or freeze after running for a long time. Please unplug the power cords of your router and modem, wait for at least 60 seconds, and then plug them back in. Wait for the indicator lights to stabilize and try connecting your phone again.

II. Refresh Phone Connection

1. Forget the network and reconnect

Sometimes the IP address information saved on the phone becomes outdated. Go to your Wi-Fi settings, tap the icon next to the connected network, and select Remove this Network (or Forget). Afterward, tap the network name to enter the password and connect again to obtain a fresh connection.

2. Restart your phone

Temporary system glitches can sometimes block data transmission. Press and hold the power button to restart your device. This clears the system cache and forces the phone to re-establish the connection with the router.

III. System Reset

1. Reset Network Settings

If the connection still fails, there may be a conflict in the system configuration. Go to Settings, search for Reset Network Settings, and confirm the action. This will restore Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile data settings to factory defaults. This step fixes configuration errors without deleting your photos or personal files.

If the problem persists after trying these steps, please back up your important data and visit an authorized realme Service Center with your proof of purchase. Our professional engineers will provide a detailed inspection and resolve the issue for you.
