It has been upgraded to a periscope module and Moon Algorithm 2.0. And it can capture both the moon and the foreground (such as buildings, trees, etc.) simultaneously.
It is recommended that you shoot between 10x and 30x to provide a more atmospheric close-up of the moon.
Moon mode 2.0 Supported models:
realme 12 Pro+ 5G, realme 13 Pro+ 5G, realme 13 Pro 5G, realme P2 Pro, realme 14 Pro+, realme 14 Pro Lite, realme P3 Ultra, realme GT7, realme GT7T, realme GT8 Pro
Operation steps:
1. Turn on the camera and select Photo mode.
2. Click the AI switch and confirm that the AI switch is yellow and turned on.
Note: Some models do not have an AI switch and are turned on by default.
3. Point the lens at the moon, spread your fingers on the screen to zoom in, and zoom in to 10x or above. When the phone recognizes that you are photographing the moon, it automatically enters moon mode.
Shooting Tips:
Choose a Foreground: Pick elements like buildings, trees, or mountains that create contrast with the moon for a vivid shot.
Adjust Composition: Position the moon in different parts of the frame (corner, edge, or center) to get unique visual effects.
Shooting Focal Length: Use 10x or above zoom for best results, with the moon automatically triggered by the camera’s algorithm.
Balance Light & Colour: Adjust the light and color temperature to ensure a natural blend between the moon and the foreground.
Use a Tripod: To avoid blurring, use a tripod and a Bluetooth shutter for stability.
