How to use Select to speak

When Select to speak is turned on, just tap a specific word on the screen and the system will read it aloud. Help visually impaired people access screen content information.


Setting method

realme UI 3.0 & above versions: Settings > Accessibility & convenience/Additional/System Settings > Accessibility > Vision > Select to speak

realme UI 2.0 & 1.0: Settings > Additional Settings > Accessibility > Select to speak

realme UI R & Go & S & T & U Edition:  Settings > Accessibility > Select to speak


Usage method

Click the Select to speak icon or press and hold the volume up and down keys to enable Select to speak.


When not speaking:

Click on a single paragraph of text.

Drag your finger to select multiple paragraphs of text.

Tap the play icon: Read everything on the screen aloud


When speaking:

Click the stop icon: stop the Select to Speak feature

Click the settings icon: enter the Select to Speak settings

Click on the previous track icon: jump to the previous readable element and read aloud

Click the pause icon: pause reading

Click on the next track icon: skip to the next readable element and read aloud
