Please confirm that you have set the fingerprint unlocking and enabled Show fingerprint icon.

1. Enable unlock function:

realme UI 7.0 & 6.0: Security and privacy > Device unlock > Fingerprint and Face Unlock > Fingerprint

realme UI 5.0: Security and privacy > Face and fingerprint unlock > Fingerprint.

realme UI 4.0 & 3.0: Settings > Password & Security > Fingerprint. Enable fingerprint unlocking (the screen cannot be unlocked if this setting is not turned on).

realme UI 2.0: Settings > Password & biometrics > Fingerprint. Enable fingerprint unlocking in Use fingerprint for (the screen cannot be unlocked if this setting is not turned on).

2. Enable the Show fingerprint icon:

realme UI 7.0 & 6.0: Security and privacy > Device unlock > Fingerprint and Face Unlock > Fingerprint > turn on Show fingerprint icon.

realme UI 5.0: Security and privacy > Face and fingerprint unlock > Fingerprint > turn on Show fingerprint icon.

realme UI 4.0 & 3.0: Settings > Password & Security > Fingerprint > turn on Show fingerprint icon.

realme UI 2.0: Settings > Password & biometrics > Fingerprint> Screen-off unlock > turn on Show fingerprint icon.

This path only works when you do not get the fingerprint icon on the Always on the Display screen while the device is locked. This does not work if you do not get the fingerprint icon on the lock screen main screen.

If the above options are enabled, the screen does not display the fingerprint icon after the screen-off, and the fingerprint cannot be unlocked by pressing the fingerprint position.

Please follow the steps below:

1. In order to save power, the icon will disappear automatically when the phone places on the desktop for about 4 seconds. Please pick up the phone and display the fingerprint icon before unlocking it.

2. The fingerprint icon will not be displayed after the smart lock function is turned on. If you need the smart lock function, please follow the steps below to turn it off:

realme UI 7.0 & 6.0: Settings > Security and privacy > More security and privacy > Extend unlock, turn off it.

realme UI 5.0 & 4.0 & 3.0: Settings > Password & Security > System security > Smart lock/Extend unlock, turn off it.

realme UI 2.0: Settings > Security > Smart lock, turn off Smart lock.

If none of the above operations can solve your problem, please back up your data and go to the nearest realme customer service center for testing.
