If your phone recordings have no sound, low volume, or static noise, it is usually due to a blocked microphone, background noise, or a connected device. Don't worry—you can usually fix this with a few simple checks. Please try the steps below:

I. Check Physical Condition and Environment

1. Clear microphone blockages

Check the microphone holes at the top and bottom of your phone to see if they are covered by your fingers, a case, or screen protectors. Also, look for dust or debris inside the holes. If you see any, gently clean them with a dry, soft brush to ensure the sound path is clear.

2. Adjust environment and distance

If the environment is too noisy or you are too far from the sound source, recordings may be unclear or too quiet. We recommend recording in a quiet room and moving the phone closer to the sound source for the best quality.

II. Function Testing and Troubleshooting

1. Disconnect Bluetooth and restart

Check if your phone is connected to Bluetooth headphones or speakers, as the recording input might be routed to them. Please turn off Bluetooth to disconnect, then try recording again. If that doesn't work, try restarting your phone to clear any temporary system glitches.

2. Test hardware functionality

Try making a regular phone call or using your voice assistant. Check if the other person can hear you clearly or if the phone recognizes your commands. If you experience no sound, low volume, or severe static during calls as well, there may be a hardware issue with the microphone.

If the steps above do not solve the problem, please back up your data and bring your proof of purchase to a realme Customer Service Center. Our professional engineers will be happy to inspect your device and assist you.
