Problem phenomenon:
After turning on the personal hotspot, other devices cannot find it.
Causes:
1. Your device does not support the 5GHz band Wi-Fi network.
2. You may have turned off allowing discovery by other devices or turned on hidden networks.
Solutions:
1. Change the hotspot AP band to 2.4 GHz.
realme UI 1.0 and above versions: Pull down the notification bar > long-press Personal Hotspot > Personal Hotspot Settings > AP band > select 2.4 GHz.
realme UI R & Go & S & T Edition: Pull down the notification bar > long-press Hotspot > Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings > AP band > select 2.4 GHz.
After changing the frequency band, switch the hotspot again and try to find whether it can be found.
2. Your personal hotspot is currently hidden. It is recommended that you set it up as follows.
realme UI 1.0 and above versions: Pull down the notification bar > Long press on personal hotspot > Hotspot settings > Disable Hide hotspot.
realme UI S & T Edition: Turn off the "Hide SSID" option on the Hotspot settings interface.
realme UI R & Go Edition: Not supported
3. Try using other devices to see if the hotspot can be searched. And if you add the device to the blocklist, please remove the device from the blocklist.
realme UI 1.0 & above versions: Settings > Search "Personal Hotspot" > Personal Hotspot > Connection Management > Blocklist
realme UI R & S & T & Go Edition: Settings > Network & internet > Hotspot & tethering > Wi-Fi Hotspot page > Blocklist
4. Please reset the Network settings to try.
realme UI 2.0 & above versions: Settings > Search "Reset Network settings" > Reset Network settings/Reset Network settings only.
realme UI R & Go & S & T Edition: Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth.
realme UI 1.0: Not supported
