If your phone cannot find any nearby Wi-Fi networks, it is usually due to temporary software glitches, router settings, or signal interference rather than a hardware defect. Please follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue. These solutions are designed to help you restore your connection quickly and easily.

I. Basic Checks and Environment

1. Refresh the wireless switch and Airplane Mode

Sometimes the system needs a quick refresh to detect available networks. Open your settings and turn the Wi-Fi switch off and then back on again. You should also turn on Airplane Mode for about 10 seconds and then turn it off. This forces the device to restart its search for all local wireless signals.

2. Verify the router and signal range

Check if other devices, such as a laptop or another phone, can see the Wi-Fi network. If no devices can find the network, the issue is likely with the router. Ensure you are within 10 meters of the router and that there are no thick walls or large metal objects between you and the signal source.

II. System Adjustments and Software

1. Restart your phone to clear temporary glitches

Small errors in the background system can prevent the Wi-Fi scanner from working correctly. Press and hold the power button to restart your device. This clears the temporary cache and allows the operating system to start a fresh search for available networks.

2. Add hidden networks manually or update the system

If your router is set to a hidden status, the network name will not appear in the search list. You must go to the Wi-Fi settings and select the option to add a network manually by typing the exact name and password. Additionally, check for any available system updates in your settings, as new software versions often include fixes for connectivity issues.

3. Reset all network configurations

If the previous steps do not work, there may be a deeper conflict in the network settings. Go to your phone settings and search for the option to Reset Network Settings. This will return Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile data parameters to their original factory state. This process will delete your saved Wi-Fi passwords but will not erase your photos or personal files.

If your phone still cannot search for any Wi-Fi networks after completing these steps, please back up your important data and visit an authorized realme Service Center. Our professional engineers will provide a detailed inspection and resolve the problem for you.
