When surfing the internet, your phone’s screen stays on, data transfers at high speeds, and the processor works hard—all of which consume power. This is normal physical behavior. However, by adjusting a few settings and usage habits, you can effectively improve battery life. Please refer to the following suggestions for optimization.

I. Optimize Network Connection and Environment

1. Choose Areas with Good Signal
In areas with weak or unstable signals, your phone automatically increases its transmission power to search for and maintain a connection, which significantly drains the battery. We suggest using the internet in environments with strong and stable signals. If the signal remains poor, try moving to a different location or switching to Wi-Fi.

2. Avoid Extreme Temperatures
Extremely high or low temperatures affect battery chemistry and performance, causing faster power drain. We recommend using your phone in well-ventilated places with moderate temperatures. Avoid using your phone for long periods in high-heat environments, such as under direct sunlight or inside a closed car.

II. Adjust App and System Settings

1. Clear Background Apps
Having many apps running in the background constantly uses memory and processor resources, causing unnecessary power drain. We suggest making a habit of regularly clearing background apps. Closing apps you aren't using reduces the load on your phone and saves battery.

2. Prioritize the Built-in Browser
Some third-party browsers may have compatibility issues or aren't optimized for energy efficiency on this device. We recommend prioritizing the phone's built-in browser for web surfing. It has been deeply adapted and optimized for low power consumption, effectively reducing battery usage.

3. Optimize Screen Display Settings
The screen is one of the main power consumers while browsing. We suggest enabling "Auto brightness" to avoid using the screen at maximum brightness for long periods. Also, if your phone supports high refresh rates, we recommend setting the Screen Refresh Rate to "Auto select" mode to balance smoothness and battery life. Path:

If, after following the above steps, the battery performance still meets your expectations, we recommend backing up your data and visiting a realme Customer Service Center for further inspection and troubleshooting.
