To ensure you have the best gaming experience, we have put together this troubleshooting guide to help fix lag and stuttering issues. Gameplay performance is affected by your network, device temperature, system resources, and game settings. Please follow the steps below to optimize your device.
I. Optimizing Network and Signal
1. Check Your Connection Quality
Unstable networks are the main cause of lag.
Using Mobile Data: Try toggling Airplane Mode on and off to reset the signal, or move away from areas with poor reception like basements or elevators.
Using Wi-Fi: Try restarting your router, reconnecting to the Wi-Fi, or switching to the faster 5GHz band. We recommend removing metal phone cases, as they can interfere with signal reception.
2. Check Game Server Status
If your network is fine, but the issue persists, and other players are experiencing similar problems at the same time, it is likely caused by game server instability. Please check the game’s official announcements or contact their customer support.
II. Device Performance and Optimization
1. Manage Power and Temperature
When your device overheats, it automatically lowers performance to protect the hardware, which causes frame drops.
Avoid Playing While Charging: Charging generates heat, which adds to the heat produced by gaming. Try to play without the charger plugged in, or enable "Bypass Charging" in your Game Assistant settings.
Help Your Device Cool Down: We recommend removing thick or unbreathable phone cases to ensure good ventilation on the back of the device.
Turn Off Power Saving Mode: This mode limits processor speed. Go to Settings > Battery and turn off "Power Saving Mode" to unleash your device's full performance.
2. Manage Background Apps and Storage
Insufficient system resources will directly affect how smoothly your game runs.
Clear Background Apps: Before launching a game, open your recent tasks menu and close unrelated apps to free up RAM (memory).
Free Up Storage: Regularly clean up junk files. Ensure your available storage is at least 2-3 times larger than the game file size to handle data reading and writing smoothly.
3. Optimize Game and System Settings
Proper settings can significantly improve your frame rate (FPS).
Adjust Graphics Settings: In the game’s settings menu, try lowering the graphics quality, resolution, or special effects. Turn off high-load options (like Anti-aliasing) to prioritize smooth gameplay.

Enable Game Assistant: Swipe to open the Game Assistant while in-game and enable GT Mode or High Performance Mode. This ensures the system prioritizes resources for your game.
4. Keep Your System Updated
Older systems may have compatibility issues. Please go to Settings > About Device > Click the top card to check for updates and upgrade to the latest version. New versions often include performance optimizations and patches for popular games that help fix stuttering.
