We apologize for any interruption caused by your phone automatically turning off or restarting. This is usually caused by automated system tasks, hardware protection triggered by temperature, or software compatibility issues. You can usually fix this quickly by checking the settings and conditions below.

I. Check System Settings and Environment

1. Turn Off Automatic Tasks

Your phone may have automated settings enabled.

  • Scheduled Power On/Off: Go to Settings and search for "Scheduled Power On/Off" to check if this feature is on, and turn it off if needed.

  • Auto Update Overnight: The "Auto Update Overnight" feature in system update settings will restart your device when it's not being used to finish installing updates. If you don't need this, search for "Auto Update Overnight" and turn it off manually.

2. Check Environmental Temperature

To prevent damage to the battery and hardware, the phone has a safety mechanism that shuts it down if the temperature is too high or too low.

  • Suggestion: Phones work best in temperatures between 0°C and 35°C (32°F - 95°F). Please avoid using your phone in extreme temperatures for long periods.

II. Fix Software Compatibility and System Issues

1. Uninstall and Reinstall Specific Apps

If the phone only restarts when you are using one specific app, that app might not be compatible with the system.

  • Suggestion: Update the app to the latest version via the App Market, or try uninstalling it and downloading it again.

  • Note: Please back up any important data within the app before uninstalling.

2. Update Your System

If the phone restarts randomly without a pattern, the current system version might be unstable.

  • Suggestion: Go to Settings > About Device > Click the top card to check for updates. Installing the latest version often fixes known system bugs.

3. Back Up Data and Factory Reset

If none of the above solutions work, we recommend resetting your phone to factory settings.

  • Important: Make sure to back up all your important data first. Then, go to Settings, search for "Reset Phone", and select the option to erase all data.

If the problem persists, please visit a realme Customer Service Center with your proof of purchase for a professional inspection.
