TV can’t read the file on the USB drive

Applicable for USB drive, USB flash drive, pen drive, Hard disk, and other storage devices.


Scenarios & Solutions:

1. All files can’t be read

Reasons:

1. Poor contact can cause the USB drive to connect to the TV and then disconnect.

2. Abnormal USB drive system can cause this issue. The formatting USB drive can restore the USB drive system.

3. Abnormal TV software can cause this issue.


Solutions:

1. Remove the USB drive and insert it again.

2. Insert the USB drive into the PC’s USB port, enter this PC or my computer, and select the USB drive, and right-mouse click, and select the [format] to format the USB drive.

After formatting, it is suggested to copy a picture to test that the USB drive works normally.

Please note: Save the data to the storage device before formatting, as formatting the storage device will erase all data and the data will be lost.

3. Please restart the TV, then restore the TV to factory settings, and upgrade the TV software to the latest version.


2. Only specific one can't be read

Reasons:

1. Not all file formats can be supported by the TV.

2. The file is damaged and can’t be read

3. Abnormal apps or TV software can cause this issue.

Solutions:

1. Remove the USB drive and insert it again.

2. Insert the USB drive into the PC’s USB port, enter this PC or my computer, select the USB drive, right-mouse click, select the [format] to format the USB drive

Please note: save the data to the storage device before formatting, as formatting the storage device will erase all data, and the data will be lost.

3. Please restart the TV, then restore the TV to factory settings, and upgrade the TV software to the latest version.
