Problem:

The phone cannot recognize the U disk and other devices when using the OTG function.

Troubleshooting method:

Note: First please confirm the phone model and check whether the model supports OTG connection.

1. Please confirm whether the OTG of the phone is turned on. You need to turn on the OTG to identify the U disk.

Path:

realme UI 7.0 & 6.0: Settings >Accessibility & convenience > OTG connection.

realme UI 5.0 & 4.0 & 3.0 & 2.0 & 1.0: Settings > Additional/System settings > OTG connection.

2. Please confirm whether the phone has recognized the U disk. If there is an OTG storage name, the U disk has been recognized on the surface.

Path: My Files on the phone desktop > OTG.

3. Connect the U disk to the computer or replace the U disk to confirm whether there is a problem. If there is a problem, it is recommended that you try to replace the U disk.

4. Check if there is any problem with connecting the OTG adapter cable to other phones. If there is any problem, it is recommended that you try to replace the OTG adapter cable.

If your OTG adapter cable and U disk can be recognized on other phones, but cannot be recognized on your phone, please bring your phone, U disk, OTG adapter cable, and purchase certificate to the realme customer service center for processing.
