Don't worry if your watch isn't charging normally. This is usually related to the charging accessories, the contact points on the watch, or the environment. The following guide will help you troubleshoot step-by-step to get your watch charging again.
I. Hardware and Connection Check
1. Check the charging dock and cable
Please ensure the charging base and cable are not damaged. If possible, try using a different adapter or a USB port on your computer to power the charging dock. This helps determine if the issue is with the power source.
2. Clean the charging contacts
Dirt or sweat on the metal contacts can prevent charging. Please check the gold contacts on the back of the watch and the pins on the charging dock. Gently wipe them with a clean, dry cloth or a cotton swab to ensure a good connection.
3. Adjust the position
Sometimes the watch is not aligned perfectly with the charging pins. Remove the watch from the dock and place it back down. Ensure it sits flat and the magnets align correctly. You should see the charging icon appear on the screen.
II. Environment and System Optimization
1. Ensure a suitable temperature
Lithium batteries have safety protections for temperature. If the environment is too hot or too cold, the watch may stop charging to protect itself. Please charge your watch in a room where the temperature is between 15°C and 35°C (59°F - 95°F).
2. Force restart the watch
If the screen is black or the system is frozen, the watch might be charging but not showing it. Try force restarting the watch by pressing and holding the side button for at least 15 seconds.
3. Allow time for activation
If the watch has not been used for a long time, the battery may be over-discharged. It needs time to wake up. Please keep the watch on the charger for at least 30 minutes to see if the charging icon appears.
